(SOLUTION)

Find out which promise earns a reply.

Several propositions, the same segment, real prospects — and a decision based on who answered rather than who argued loudest internally.

A value proposition is usually settled in a workshop by the most senior person in the room. The market was not in the room.

We test instead. Each candidate proposition goes to a comparable slice of the same segment, with everything else held steady. Within a few weeks there is a ranked answer, and the wording that produced it is written down for the rest of your marketing to use.

What the system does

  • Controlled comparison. One variable at a time, comparable audience sizes, same channel and cadence.
  • Real prospects. The verdict comes from buyers in your market, not from a survey panel.
  • Outcome metrics. Reply rate first, then the share of replies that become meetings — opens prove nothing.
  • Reusable result. The winning angle is documented per segment and per role, ready for the website and the sales deck.
(HOW IT RUNS)
  1. 01 — Collect the propositions worth testing
  2. 02 — Split the segment into comparable groups
  3. 03 — Write variants that differ in one thing only
  4. 04 — Run the tests in parallel
  5. 05 — Rank on replies and meetings booked
  6. 06 — Document the winner and retire the rest

(FAQ)

Value Proposition Testing: the questions we get

How many variants can be tested at once?

Three or four per segment is the practical limit — beyond that the groups get too small to tell noise from signal.

How big does the segment need to be?

A few hundred comparable companies per variant is usually enough to see a difference in reply rate.

What if none of them work?

That is a finding, and a cheap one. It usually means the segment is wrong rather than the wording, and we go back to the profile.
