# U [in] AI featured in AI Odyssey: a founder story about building AI for real B2B growth

It’s always interesting when people outside your own team start asking questions about what you’re building. For us, that’s been happening more often lately.

[U [in] AI](https://u-in.ai/) is growing, we’re working with more real business cases, and the ideas behind the product are starting to get attention from people who spend their time watching what’s actually happening in AI.

Recently, AI Odyssey featured our founder, Olga Bialkovich , in a story by Amanda Smith: “This founder is her own AI tool’s best customer.”

And yes, the title is pretty accurate.

Olga has spent more than 18 years working in marketing, brand strategy, and lead generation. Today, she’s building U [in] AI around many of the same problems she has been solving manually for years.

The difference is that now AI is doing a growing part of the work.

## 01 — Why AI Odyssey was interested in the story

A lot of conversations about AI in sales and marketing still start with automation.

How many messages can we send? How quickly can we build a database? How much of the sales process can an agent take over?

Those questions matter, of course. But they’re not really the part we find most interesting.

For us, the harder question is what happens before the message is sent.

Who exactly are we talking to? Why would this person care about the product? What problem are they trying to solve? What arguments might actually matter to them?

That was one of the main ideas Olga discussed with AI Odyssey.

Before our [AI lead generation systems](https://u-in.ai/solutions/) start communicating with potential clients, we spend a lot of time understanding the customer behind the ICP. Product information alone isn’t enough. Good B2B communication needs context.

That sounds obvious when a good salesperson does it.

It becomes much more interesting when you try to teach an AI system to do the same thing at scale.

## 02 — We use our own product to find our own clients

This is probably our favorite part of the AI Odyssey story.

U [in] AI is one of U [in] AI’s own customers.

We use the same technology internally that we use in client projects: to identify potential companies, understand the audience, start conversations, and test how communication performs.

So sometimes a potential client asks Olga a very reasonable question:

“How did you find me?”

The answer is simple.

With the product we’re talking to you about.

For us, this matters.

Building an AI product is one thing. Depending on it in your own sales and marketing is something else. You notice very quickly what works, what feels unnatural, where the agent needs better context, and where a human still needs to step in.

There’s nowhere to hide from your own product.

And honestly, that’s useful.

## 03 — The bigger idea behind U [in] AI

Today, U [in] AI works across several parts of B2B acquisition.

Our current product stack includes [LinkedIn lead generation, AI SMM Agent and AI E-mail Marketing](https://u-in.ai/).

But we don’t see these as separate tools forever.

The bigger idea is to build an AI infrastructure where prospecting, communication, and marketing work together, with the same understanding of the company, the customer, and the brand behind them.

That matters because the current AI market is still very fragmented. One tool handles prospecting, another handles email, another produces content, and another does analytics.

We want to bring these processes together inside one system.

That’s also why we’re building beyond individual products and looking at the full technology perimeter of marketing and sales, from [AI sales prospecting and B2B sales automation to lead scoring, outreach and integrations](https://u-in.ai/solutions/).

Because businesses don’t really need another dashboard that generates text.

They need AI systems that can understand a task, work inside a real business process, and communicate in a way that still feels relevant to the person on the other side.

That’s much harder than simply automating outreach.

It’s also much more interesting to build.

## 04 — A good moment for us

Being featured by a publication focused specifically on AI founders and companies is a nice signal for our team.

Not because media coverage is the goal.

It isn’t.

But when people who follow AI products and founders stop and want to understand why you’re building yours, it usually means there’s something in the idea worth discussing.

And that’s exactly the conversation we want to be part of: what happens when AI moves from generating content to actually taking responsibility for parts of marketing, sales, and business communication?

We’re still building. We’re still testing. And, conveniently, we’re still one of our own most demanding customers.
